In-Person Admissions Process
In-Person Learning Admissions
Our admissions process varies between our full-time and part-time programs. Full-time programs include both our full-year and term-by-term study options at our Ontario campuses, for students attending school with us during the day. Part-time programs include our summer school, night school, and private courses.
The admissions process for international students differs slightly due to study visa requirements. For extended details go to our International Student Application & Admissions page. (A domestic student is defined as a student who is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.)
Secure Your Spot and Save - Apply Early
In order for us to maintain small class sizes, space is limited. We encourage you to apply early to secure your seat and your top choice courses. Save on full-year tuition when you either pay in full or enrol in the instalment plan before March 31, 2022.
How To Apply
Step 1: Contact admissions and learn more
As an initial step of Blyth Academy’s admissions process, we encourage all parents and students to book a personalized consultation with an Admissions Advisor or campus principal. Additionally, we encourage all families to come in for a campus tour or walkthrough of a day in the life of a Blyth Academy Student.
Step 2: Interview and SUBMIT documents
Interviews will be scheduled with the campus principal for each applicant and their parent/guardians.
Additionally, you will be asked to submit your student’s transcript, recent report cards, and if applicable an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or Psychoeducational Report. Additional documentation may be requested, such as references, work samples, and a student reflection.
Step 3: Submit formal Application
In order to submit an application, families must first create an account on our Student Application Portal. From your account you can manage your application and make fee payments. Application fees might apply*.
- Note that you will be required to pay a deposit at the time of application. If your child(ren)’s application is not successful, all deposits will be refunded.
- *This fee is refundable if admission is declined by Blyth Academy. Upon receipt of an official offer of enrolment, all Terms and Conditions apply.
Step 4: Offer of Enrolment
Upon review of completed applications, successful applicants will be sent an offer of enrolment. The offer will include all of the details students need to prepare for their first day, including a copy of the Code of Conduct, which must be reviewed and signed off on prior to starting classes.
Once you've received your offer letter you must complete your enrolment by submitting your enrolment form with your payment option. Click here to learn more about payment options, and tuition and fees.
