Upon walking into my classroom, someone would see various maps on the walls, with me quizzing the students on where to find certain countries or capital cities. They would also hear the students call me by one of my many nicknames they have created throughout the year(s).

Working with Blyth, I had the opportunity to teach abroad for three months in Australia and New Zealand. These countries have always been on my bucket list and being able to share these experiences with a great group of students is something I will never forget.

The most rewarding part of being a teacher is getting to know my students on a personal level; figuring out their interests and helping them prepare for their post-secondary experiences.

Critical Thinking is one skill every student should learn and apply to their day-to-day life.
