Blyth Academy Lawrence Park Donates 3D printed Covid shields to Retirement Residence
Under normal circumstances, Lawrence Park students meet weekly with the residents of The Teddington Retirement Residence, to cook and enjoy lunch and conversation together. To keep our staff and students safe and help slow the spread of this virus, our school is currently operating with virtual classrooms, and our 3D printer has been operating around the clock to produce comfortable and flexible plastic headbands for face shields.
Yesterday we delivered 25 ready-for-wear units, and we will be delivering these weekly as long as needed.
