Greetings Blyth Families!
I can’t believe we have been in our virtual classrooms for over 2.5 months now! Time really has flown by! I am sure there have been challenges along the way but I am hopeful that we have been able to provide your child and your family with some structure, engagement and most importantly, fun! As we enter the last few weeks of classes I am extremely proud of our students, staff and families! We have come together during these unprecedented times to continue supporting our students, your children, in their academic and athletic development! We are encouraged by the fact that our students will have a step-up on most as they enter next school year after completing the entire curriculum, while the majority of others have had their school year cut short and their curriculum reduced. We have some exciting guest speakers joining us in the coming weeks that I encourage you all to attend! We also have two sessions for Mental Health & Well-Being coming up (for students and parents) that I recommend you register for!
Student of the Week
As we wrap up the week we would like to recognize Rylan S. as our Student of the Week! Rylan has demonstrated an very strong work ethic in our virtual classroom and continues to excel in our new model of education! Rylan is a very hard working student-athlete who continues to thrive in the classroom and regularly attends our guest speaker sessions, fitness workouts and game-film analysis sessions! Great work, Rylan!
Wellness Wednesdays
Continue to look out for our Wellness Wednesday videos and activities! These are great opportunities to take a minute to reflect on how things are going and to support your success and well-being. We are very excited about the mental health and well-being sessions Blyth Academy is running for students and parents! We have two left so please make sure to register for them!
