Meet Arianna.
Found a way to fast-track without compromise.
Arianna has a big decision to make.
“I have yet to decide whether I want to pursue a career as a physician to practice medicine or a career in engineering to develop nanotechnology for medicine.”
There’s still some time to decide. Arianna is on-track to graduate high school early this year to get a head start on her post-secondary studies. Flexible schedule options allowed her to take Grade 9 and 10 sciences in her first year and complete all three Grade 11 sciences and Grade 12 physics the following year to help meet her academic goals.
“Blyth has given me the unique opportunity to pursue STEM subjects to a degree that would not be possible at any other institution. I’ve had the privilege to take the courses I’m interested in at my own pace. I made the most out of the opportunity by taking higher-level courses at a younger age and fast-tracking my education. My journey at Blyth Academy has challenged me in all the right ways.”
Arianna is exploring her interests in other ways, outside of the classroom, through student clubs.
“I joined the school’s Math Club in my first year at Blyth Academy, which prepared me for multiple math contests at the University of Waterloo. With the support I received from the Math Club I placed on the Honour Roll for every contest I’ve taken part in.”
“With the support of all my enthusiastic teachers and mentors, I always feel encouraged to challenge myself further and reach my full potential as a student.”
