COVID-19 Information
Updated: September 6th, 2022
Based on the most recent guidance from the Ministry of Education, all Blyth Academy campuses we will be returning to regular, in-person learning for the academic year 2022-2023. If you or your child is hesitant to return to campus we encourage you to reach out to your school's principal to explore alternative learning options. Our school's principals will be meeting regularly to discuss the current state of affairs and contingency plans and will keep parents informed throughout this process.
Beginning in September 2022, Blyth Academy will no longer require proof of vaccination for staff or students. Additionally, there will be no masking requirement on campus. Individuals who wish to continue masking will be allowed to do so. In keeping with Ministry guidance, we will continue to provide enhanced sanitation and cleaning schedules.
As we look towards a new year, we are preparing for a variety of scenarios. The government is prioritising education, aiming to keeping schools open. We know there may yet be further disruption however our team will strive to deliver the same high-quality education as always.
