At the end of June, both the 2024 NHL and 2024 NBA draft brought exciting news for Blyth Academy as four former student-athletes achieved remarkable milestones. These talented individuals are set to make their mark in the world of professional hockey and basketball.
Meet Our Draftees:
★ Zach Edey, selected 9th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies
★ Zayne Parekh, selected 9th overall by the Calgary Flames
★ Kevin He, selected 109th overall by the Winnipeg Jets. Kevin’s selection as the 2nd Chinese-born player ever drafted, and the highest pick, is historic. His determination and passion inspire us all
★ Ty Henry, selected 163rd overall by The Chicago Blackhawks
