Blyth Academy Burlington Announces Groundbreaking Partnership with Edge Lacrosse

BURLINGTON, ON – Blyth Academy Burlington is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the North American lacrosse powerhouse Edge Lacrosse. This collaboration introduces the Blyth Academy Advanced Lacrosse Training program, designed to foster academic and athletic excellence through Blyth Academy’s signature flexible scheduling and Edge’s renowned lacrosse development.

Stuart Brown, Founder of Edge Lacrosse, expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re excited to join forces with Blyth Academy. This partnership will leverage our combined expertise to offer unparalleled opportunities for student-athletes in the Golden Horseshoe.”

Dan Compagnon, Principal of Blyth Academy Burlington, added, “Our commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes is stronger than ever. With Edge Lacrosse, we’re setting a new standard for lacrosse training and education.”

The program promises a dynamic learning environment where student-athletes can balance school, practice, and home life while training with top coaches. Edge Lacrosse’s track record of over $100 million in scholarships and 500 NCAA athletes speaks to the success of their approach.

Blyth Academy’s Advanced Lacrosse Training program offers co-ed athletes a tailored curriculum, on-field skill development, and high-intensity fitness training from Monday to Friday. The coaching team, with a history of developing players for Junior, NCAA, National Teams, NLL, and PLL, prioritizes individual skill development, mental health and a healthy school-training balance.

Notable alumni from Edge Lacrosse include Finn Thomson (Syracuse University), Julia Ruscio (Mercyhurst University, Team Ireland), and Dillon Ward (Colorado Mammoth, Bellarmine University), among others.
