Announcing the 2025 March Break Abroad Program: A Cultural Exploration for High School Students in London and Paris

By Principal, Nicholas Catania - We are thrilled to announce our exciting 2025 March Break Abroad Program, designed specifically for Blyth students in grades 11 and 12. This unique educational journey will take students to two of Europe's most historic and culturally rich cities: London, UK, and Paris, France. The program, running during the March Break, offers students an invaluable opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in the diverse histories, arts, and societies of these iconic destinations. 

Cultural Immersion and Educational Opportunities 

The 2025 March Break Abroad Program is more than just a trip; it's a comprehensive educational experience that blends classroom learning with real-world exposure. Students will participate in guided tours, museum visits, and activities that highlight the significant historical, artistic, and cultural landmarks of both cities. 

Experience London's Majesty 

The program begins with a flight from Toronto to London, where students will dive into the heart of British culture. Highlights include a guided sightseeing tour encompassing the majestic Kensington Palace, historic Westminster, and the bustling streets of the West End. Students will visit renowned landmarks such as the British Museum, the Tower of London, and enjoy an optional excursion to a West End theatre. 

Parisian Adventures 

Following London, the journey continues to Paris via the high-speed Eurostar train. In the "City of Light," students will explore the Latin Quarter, admire the gothic architecture of Notre Dame, and walk through the artistic haven of Montmartre. Visits to the Louvre and the Musée de la Musique provide a deep dive into French and global art and history. The itinerary also includes a memorable climb up the Eiffel Tower and a guided tour of the historic Opéra Garnier. 

Safety and Supervision 

Safety is our top priority. Students will be accompanied by experienced chaperones and educators who specialize in working with high school-aged students. All activities and excursions are planned with safety and educational value in mind, ensuring a secure and enriching experience for all participants. 

Registration and Information 

Spaces for the 2025 March Break Abroad Program are limited, and we encourage interested students and their parents to register early to secure their spot. Detailed information about the itinerary, costs, accommodations, and registration process can be found on our website or by contacting your campus directly. 

Students need to be approved by their campus principal in order to attend. Additionally, students wishing to invite a friend from a different school are encouraged to speak with their campus principal for approval pending program availability.
