Join Blyth as we explore the best of
two incredible countries! First we explore the Eternal
City and all that Rome has to offer from our hotel in
the heart of the Vatican City. Then we head south to
Greece to explore the picturesque islands of the Aegean
from our private sailing
yachts, and the breathtaking shores of Kalamata from
our beautiful beachfront resort.
Rome
Upon our arrival in Italy, we will settle into our four-star
hotel
nestled in the heart of Rome. From here we will explore all
the wonders of the Eternal City. From the Vatican to the Forum
and the Colosseum, we will be immersed in the history and
culture of Italy’s metropolitan capital. We will dine
at some of the best local restaurants for our Dine Around
2010 Program and have the option to attend an audience with
the Pope.
Greece
The second half of the program combines sailing
in a flotilla of yachts through the beautiful Cyclades Islands
and relaxing at our beachfront
resort in Kalamata on the south shore of the Peloponnesus.
On the yachts, sailing
through the crystal-clear blue waters, frequent stops in delightful
ports, white sand beaches, and historic landmarks will make
learning a sheer pleasure. In Kalamata, we will enjoy the
comforts of our luxurious beachfront resort while having the
option of exploring nearby Olympia
and Ancient Sparta.
Half of our students will begin this exciting journey on our
sailing
yachts, while the other half will begin on the beach in Paros.
They will then switch locations before meeting up again in
Athens. All students will then travel to Kalamata for a week
of fun at our beachfront resort. Our program will finish in
Athens, where we will celebrate with our farewell banquet
and awards night - opa!
The Landlovers’
Option
Students wanting to opt out of sailing
can enjoy those three nights at Santorini and rejoin the group
at Paros.
