Costa Rica means ‘rich coast’ in Spanish and many call it the Switzerland of Central America. The country is endowed with a virtual treasure trove of mountains, rivers, and white sand beaches.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest
Our Costa Rican adventure will begin at the Ecolodge San Luis and Biological Station, located one valley beyond the Monteverde Cloud Forest. For four days we will explore Costa Rica’s natural history and rural culture as we immerse ourselves in this magical country. Hikes through the lush forests and a Skywalk above the tree-top canopy will leave students awestruck.

The Pacific
The next three weeks will be spent at our residence Villas ASECCSS Nacazcol located near Playas del Coco, a colourful little fishing village in the province of Guanacaste on the North Pacific Coast. The village is set in a deep cove with a long beach of calm waters. The resort features great accommodation, terrific food, and not one, but two swimming pools.
