INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAMS
Position: Senior Level Teachers
We are seeking qualified teachers for our international summer programs for the 2009 season. There are a number of positions available in a variety of senior level secondary school credit courses. Job Description:
- Teach selected Ontario Secondary School curriculum courses in an international setting

- Support and assist the regular routines of the program including supervision of students in a residential setting
- Maintain communication with students, parents, and program coordinators as required

Position: Project Ethiopia Program Leader

Project Ethiopia is a View Foundation not-for-profit project. Volunteers from Canada work in the Mission of Charity in Gondar, Ethiopia. Those living in the mission are orphans, the sick, physically/mentally challenged, and the terminally ill. Our volunteers attempt to better the lives of these people through education, games, crafts, sports, and the like. It is a Christian mission, but we have no religious affiliations.
Job Description:
- Monitor the program to ensure the volunteers and the Sisters at the mission are satisfied with its progress.
- Ensure the physical, mental, psychologica,l and emotional health of the volunteers at all times.
- Organize logistics of meals, lodging, and trips.
- Organize and facilitate a trip to the Simien Mountains and/or Lalibela through a local tour company, as well as a tour in Addis Ababa.
- Communicate/Coordinate with the International Program Director.
Availability: June 30 to August 24, 2009
Financial Compensation: The leader will be paid a base salary (depending on qualifications). All necessary expenses will be paid such as flights, food, and lodging.

Project Cuba is a View Foundation not-for-profit project. Volunteers from Canada work in Havana at two projects: a UNESCO Heritage site, and community outreach with orphans. At the UNESCO Heritage site volunteers work with artisans to restore buildings in disrepair. In the afternoon, volunteers work at established community-service centres assisting with outreach work to children in need.
Job Description:
- Monitor the program to ensure the View Foundation Leader, volunteers, artisans, and outreach workers are satisfied with the program's progress.
- Ensure the physical, mental, psychological, and emotional health of the volunteers at all times.
- Organize logistics of meals, lodging and trips.
- Organize and facilitate a historical tour of Havana, as well as various weekend/evening activities.
- Communicate/Coordinate with the International Program Director.
- Coordinate leaders and volunteers in the two months preceding the trip.
