OUR WORK
Divided between the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the beautiful beaches of the Pacific coast, our work
will focus on sustainable community and economic development. In the rainforest, we will be helping the with reforestation, and either a community centre or child focused project. Passing through Liberia, we will work at a special needs school and run bingo at an old age home (using the Spanish we have llearned). Continuing to the coast, we will direct our focus to two local schools (one high school and one elementary school), where we will be teaching English to the students in the mornings and painting the school building in the afternoons. As well, a beach clean up and visit to play with kids at an orphanage will occupy our time on the trip.

OUR PLAY
Costa Rica offers a wide array of adventures, activities, and ways to wind down. From surfing and snorkelling to hiking, dancing, and sunbathing, Costa Rica has something for everyone. While in the rainforest, we will take day and night nature hikes and learn about the benefits that our work will do, as well as having a BBQ with locals one evening. A trip to see the volcanoe is included. As we make our way from the Cloud Forest to the coast, we will stop to do some shopping and sightseeing. In Liberia, we can go to the theatre and tour the city. On the coast, ziplining, snorkeling, surfing and scuba is available. Continual team building activities will have everyone enjoying this trip to its fullest!
