Once
we have received the application and deposit,
a letter confirming receipt will be sent to you.

A deposit of $750 plus a registration
fee of $95 must accompany your application.
If you are purchasing Medical and/or Tuition/Cancellation
Insurance, payment must be included in full with your deposit.
A second payment of $1000 is due
30 days after registration.
The balance of the program
fee, and applicable taxes are due April 1, 2009.
We cannot guarantee a place in the program
if the balance is unpaid by that date.
Applications received on or after
April 2, 2009 must be accompanied by the full payment.
Payments can be made by cheque, credit card,
or on-line at www.blytheducation.com.
INSURANCE
We strongly
recommend that you purchase the Medical & Tuition/Cancellation
Insurance Plan, which includes:
- Trip cancellation before you leave home. If you
need to cancel your trip because of a covered illness or
medical emergency, your trip investment is protected.
- Emergency medical coverage, including access to Global
Excel, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, if you need to be
referred to a doctor, to get help in a foreign language,
to be brought home for medical attention, or to access other
assistance services in an emergency.
- Subsistence allowance up to $1500 reimbursement for commercial
accommodation, meals, essential telephone calls and taxi
fares, upon physician’s advice, for a covered emergency
medical condition.
- Bedside companion’s travel if you are hospitalized
for more than 3 days.
Plans may only be purchased at the time of registration and
are available to residents of Canada only. Non-residents
may purchase Tuition/Cancellation Insurance only.

Pre-existing medical conditions that have
not been stable for 90 days prior to purchasing Medical Insurance
are not covered. Other exclusions apply. Please
refer to policy for details.
Premiums are non-refundable after the date
of purchase.
DISCOUNTS
Students enrolled in two international programs
in the same year will receive a 10% discount on the lower-priced
program fee.
Families enrolling more than one child in
the same year will receive a 10% discount on the program fee
for the second child for the lower-priced program.
Students or their siblings enrolled in a
2009 Blyth Community Service Program may deduct $100 from
the tuition for any one course with Blyth Academy in Toronto
up to August 2010.
Discounts may not be combined.
To reserve a spot
in Project Costa Rica, Project Bhutan, Egypt or Cuba, a deposit
of $750 by cheque or credit card must accompany your application.
If you are purchasing the Cancellation
Protection Plan, and/or Medical Insurance, this payment
must also be included with your deposit.
A second payment of $1000 by cheque or credit
card is due 30 days after receipt of the application. The
balance of the program fee and applicable taxes are due 120
days prior to departure. The travel portion of your program
will be paid on your behalf to a registered travel agency.
We cannot guarantee your place in the program if the balance
is unpaid by that date.
