WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU REGISTER?

All volunteers will receive a welcome package including a questionnaire and important information regarding travelling visas

Our Orientation session will take place in February. Volunteers will meet the staff and fellow volunteers. During this orientation session, volunteers will receive a manual, flight information, and other pertinent information. Finally, this session will include a question and answer period.

Just prior to departure, the Project Coordinator will contact all volunteers via e-mail to provide any last minute details.

FOR THE FLIGHT TORONTO-HAVANA
• Bring one of your warm clothing items for the plane, it can be cool while we fly.
• Purchase adequate water before departure for the plane and for our first night in Cuba. We will be arriving early in the morning at the Havana Airport and little will be open.
• We will exchange money at the airport.
• From the airport we will transfer as a group directly to the CUJAE .

FOR THE FLIGHT HAVANA-TORONTO
• Keep all receipts for purchases made in Cuba for exiting the country
• The Havana airport tax will be paid by the project leader upon departure

TROPICAL STORMS AND HURRICANES
In case of severe weather conditions you have to OBEY the rules that will be given to you at the CUJAE.
"Mandatory" evacuation orders in Cuba truly mean MANDATORY.
