Welcome to Blyth Academy.

Over the last thirty-three years we have devoted to the education of young people, we have learnt three essential truths that you will see reflected in our schools and that are central to our philosophy:

1. Care and empathy for students on academic, intellectual and personal levels is essential to seeing true progress.
2. Brilliant hands-on, experiential teaching in small classes engages students and produces the best results.
3. Our schools produce well-rounded “university-ready” students by providing a full extra-curricular program of activities including sports and fitness, theatre and the arts as well as community-service opportunities in the neighbourhood and around the world.

Our schools are designed to be boutiques of 50 - 125 students, as this allows us to be personally in touch with every individual yet large enough to offer a broad range of courses. The difference between our boutique model and the traditional school is the difference you would feel between arriving at a lovely, warm boutique hotel and a sprawling conference hotel.
