Regular Program:

Course Dates:
July 5 – July 30, 2010 (Monday to Friday)
August 3 – August 30, 2010 (Monday to Friday)

Course Times:
10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Accelerated Program:

Accelerated programs are condensed programs with clear expectations for the successful completion of the credit. The following 3 courses are available in the accelerated form:

Grade 12 English (ENG 4U)
Grade 12 Math Advanced Functions (MHF 4U)
Calculus and Vectors (MCV 4U)

Course Dates:
August 16 – September 3, 2010 (Monday to Friday) plus Saturday, September 11th, 2010.
August 23 – September 3, 2010 (Monday to Friday) plus the following Saturdays: September 11, 25; October 2, 16, 22, and 30.

Course Times:
9:00 am to 4:30 pm

 

 

Tuition Fees

The fee for each course is $895. This amount is payable in full if you are registering within 6 weeks of your course start date. Otherwise, a $250 deposit is required to secure your place in the course. The final balance is due 6 weeks prior to your course start date.

There is a $95 annual registration fee per student. This means if you participated in a Blyth Academy or Blyth International Summer Program in the last 365 days, you will not be charged the $95 registration fee a second time in the same year.

Text book fees are extra. The average price per text is approximately $75.

Course Pre-requisites & Important Information

It is each student's responsibility to assure that the prerequisite for their course has been achieved. The prerequisites for all courses offered at Blyth Academy can be found in our Course Calendar or on the Ministry of Education website. Students who register in a course without the required prerequisite will be asked to leave with the possibility of no refund. Exceptions will be made for students who register with Blyth while they are taking their prerequisite. Blyth Academy requests that all students submit a transcript at the time of enrolment demonstrating that they have achieved the required prerequisite.

Blyth Education reserves the right to cancel courses for lack of sufficient enrollment. In the event a course is withdrawn, students will have priority access to another course or will receive a full refund.
