ROM Courses

ROM student talking with teacher.

Blyth Academy and the Royal Ontario Museum have launched a joint program which, for the first time ever, allows students to take high school accredited courses inside the ROM. Students will work under the guidance of our teachers and alongside educational and curatorial staff at the ROM. Courses can be taken by students in either our full-time or part-time programs.

The courses, accredited at Grades 9 through 12, include access to both the public galleries and the vaults in the museum, giving students an exclusive, hands-on access to such holdings as the Dead Sea Scrolls. Blyth faculty largely hold doctorates in their field of instruction and will be working closely with ROM staff to ensure that courses both cover the curricula and provide a transformative educational experience. Class size will average 8-10 students. Financial aid is available through Blyth Academy.
