Madrid, Pamplona, Bilbao and Barcelona

Our fabulous Spanish odyssey will begin in Madrid, where we will be immersed in history and culture. Then we head to Bilbao and visit the Guggenheim Museum before continuing to Pamplona for the famous Running of the Bulls. Finally, we will take in beautiful Barcelona and learn to live like Catalonians!!

We begin our adventure in Madrid, with time spent at the Prado Museum, taking in the masterpieces of Velázquez and Goya. In the evenings we will enjoy the café culture that defines Spain.

Then we continue to charming Bilbao in the northern part of the country. Here we will discover the impressive Guggenheim Museum, and the glorious masterpieces inside, and then we’re off to Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls!

Our home base for the rest of the program will be Barcelona — one of the most avant-garde cities on the Continent. Steps from the Barrio Gotico, we will live and breathe the architecture of Antoni Gaudi and entertain ourselves in Las Ramblas. We will take excursions to the city and nearby beaches and have the opportunity to visit the famed El Paseo de Gracia.
