Grand Tour Asia
This dynamic new program takes us throughout
China’s cities, squares and temples, exploring both
the history and culture of this ancient country.
After China, we continue on our Asian adventure
to Hong Kong, and then Thailand. In these places
we will experience life in a busy city, and then
slow down in a beach town. While away, we can
focus on culinary arts, Mandarin language studies,
or international business.
Our exploration begins in Beijing, the capital city
of China and the heart of this mystical country for
centuries. Here we will view the Great Wall, take
in Tiananmen Square, and discover the secrets of
the Forbidden City.
Then it’s off to Shanghai, the largest city in
China, for a city tour and a visit to the Shanghai
Museum. Xian is next on our tour, and leads us
to the famed terracotta warriors.
Once in Chengdu, the ‘city of heaven,’ we will
tour around the town and take some time to
delight in some true Sichuan cuisine. And in Hong
Kong, we will enjoy a harbour cruise and a visit to
the Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong Island.
Our trip then comes to rest on the beaches of
Phuket, Thailand, where we will snorkel and
swim before our final beach banquet!
