It is Blyth’s mission to provide assistance to developing communities through educational and environmental initiatives. We see volunteering as a great way to fully engage with the communities we visit abroad, and a learning experience that enables young people to discover themselves and the world around them while making a difference. Our community-service trips are an opportunity not only to travel and do good works, but to have fun, too! Each day will offer excitement and adventure – whether you decide to try zip lining in Costa Rica, listen to live jazz in New Orleans, explore monasteries in Bhutan, or while away the afternoons with new friends on a warm, tropical beach.
We will take part in community-development programs ranging from teaching children to improving environmental sustainability to building homes and schools! The credit hours you earn will be sent to your home school and will count toward the 40 hours you need to graduate. They can also be used to fulfill requirements for the International Baccalaureate or Duke of Edinburgh award programs. So join us and bring your friends; we guarantee a fun, safe, and exciting experience – with lots of Blyth extras that will make it a truly unforgettable journey!
