Our program combines the richness of the
mountainous Monteverde
Cloud Forest with the stunning northwest coastline of
the Pacific. Each day will offer opportunities to work with
children, help paint and renovate schools, or assist in environmental
projects.
OUR WORK
Divided between the Monteverde
Cloud Forest and the beautiful beaches of the Pacific
coast, our work will focus on sustainable community and economic
development. In the mountainous Monteverde region, we will
explore and learn about the fragile balance of this diverse
ecosystem. Working with local groups we will be helping with
reforestation, trail maintenance, and a community- or child-focused
project. As we travel to the coast,
we will direct our focus to the orphanage in Santa Cruz and
a local school in Liberia.
OUR PLAY
Costa Rica offers a wide array of adventures, activities,
and ways to wind down. From surfing and snorkelling to hiking,
salsa dancing, and sunbathing, there is something for everyone.
While in the rainforest, we will take nature hikes and learn
about the benefits that our work will provide. As we make
our way from the Cloud Forest to the coast, we will stop to
spend a night in Arenal, home to the beautiful Arenal
Volcano, where we will reward ourselves with a soak in
the hot springs. On the coast, zip lining, snorkelling, surfing
and scuba diving are all available to those who wish to take
part. Continual team building activities will have everyone
enjoying this trip to its fullest!
