Why choose Blyth for part-time credits?
Many of our students come to us in the evenings, weekends or summers while remaining at their home school. By choosing Blyth for one or two courses, students are able to benefit from our teachers and small class sizes and excel in core subjects.
Part-time students also have the unique opportunity to study exclusive courses at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Earn high school credits alongside curatorial and educational staff while experiencing Toronto’s most hands-on, enriching classroom.
Tuition & Registration Fees:
A $95 registration fee is required for a summer school or a part-time course. Students who have participated in a 2011 Blyth International Program who wish to take a 2011 Academy Summer School program or 2011/12 part-time program will not be required to pay the $95 registration fee a second time. Similarly, students who attend summer school in both July and August will only be required to pay one registration fee.
Tuition fee for each course is $995*, payable in full if you are registering within 30 days of your course start date. For registrations received more than 30 days prior to course start date, a $445 deposit is required to secure your place in the course. The final balance will then be due not later than 30 days prior to your course start date. Please ensure all information on the online application form is correct. Registration fees and any applicable discounts will be applied to your invoice upon receipt of application.
Text book fees are extra. The average price per text book is approximately $75.
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (MasterCard, VISA and American Express are all accepted). A processing fee of $30 will be charged for any NSF check or declined credit card authorization.
*Course fees for the ROM are $1290 and the deposit is $350
*Effective Second Semester, February 11, 2012, Part-time tuition fee for each course is $995

Course Prerequisites &
Important Information
It is each student's responsibility to assure that the prerequisite for their course has been achieved. The prerequisites for all courses offered at Blyth Academy can be found in our Course Calendar or on the Ministry of Education website. Students who register in a course without the required prerequisite will be asked to leave with the possibility of no refund. Exceptions will be made for students who register with Blyth while they are taking their prerequisite only if the prerequisite will be completed before the start of their Blyth course. Blyth Academy requests that all students submit a transcript at the time of enrolment demonstrating that they have achieved the required prerequisite.
Blyth Education reserves the right to cancel courses for lack of sufficient enrollment. In the event a course is withdrawn, students will have priority access to another course or will receive a full refund.
Cancellation Policy
Blyth Academy Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Annual registration fees are not refundable. Blyth requires notice of cancellation in writing a minimum of 60 days prior to the commencement of the session in which the course starts in order to provide a full refund of course fees. For cancellation notices received between 60-30 days prior to course start date, a credit note for 100% of the value of the course in question will be issued. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, are transferable to a sibling, and are applicable to all Blyth Academy programs. There will be no refunds or credit notes issued for course cancellations within 30 days from the start date of the course that is being cancelled.
Blyth Academy will, however, refund 100% of course fees paid in the event that it is not able to offer or has to cancel an advertised course at the campus of the student’s choice.
